On a map, New Zealand seems to be a tiny island effectively separated from the rest of the world. This is not at all true. There are flights from Europe, United States and Asia to Auckland and Christ Church. People travelling to New Zealand often find that New Zealand is a pleasantly different place. The people in New Zealand are very friendly. They speak English and have food similar to North America.
